Early Pregnancy Preparations

The perfect introductory class to take in your first trimester. This class is a roadmap to a typical pregnancy journey where we will walk you through all the key milestones.

We will discuss ways of alleviating common discomforts, caring for the birthing parent, nutrition, exercise, and all the must-know topics for newly expecting parents.

Prenatal Education Bootcamp

5 Hours (2 x 2.5 Hour Sessions)

This class focuses on the stages of labor, delivery, and the basics of common medical interventions to help you make informed decisions.

We will answer all your questions about laboring, timing contractions, and going to the birthing facility. We will also talk about late pregnancy health and postpartum strategies to help you achieve a satisfactory pregnancy.

 
 

Coping and Comfort

This class prepares expecting parents for labor by providing them with the non-pharmacological pain management tools commonly used for coping with labor.

We will practice key techniques for breath, movement, touch, and vocalization, and share tips for partners. This experiential session will give you the toolkit you need for delivery day.

Newborn Care

120 Mins

This class is designed to help new parents after their baby’s birth. You will become familiar with the wide spectrum of normal newborn behavior and learn the ins-and-outs of practical babycare (like how to bath, diaper, swaddle, and soothe, to name a few).

We will also address key topics like how babies eat and sleep, while answering your questions about the myths and realities of parenting newborns.

Pre/postnatal Movement and Mindfulness

60 Minutes

This class will guide you through breath work and movement that will open and strengthen your mind, body, and heart. Not only will it help you better connect with your body and your baby, but it will also provide you with the tools you need to thrive during pregnancy, labor and birth.

This prenatal yoga class is open to all levels and requires just a yoga mat. Yoga blocks and props are welcome but not necessary.

Breastfeeding 101

This class provides expert advice and specific instructions on how to get a good start to breastfeeding. You’ll learn the science behind breastfeeding and become familiar with the basics of how to feed your baby.

We will walk you through the process, step by step, of how to get a good latch and ways to troubleshoot.

Perinatal Mental Health

This class provides you with a better understanding of potential mental health issues and risk factors during pregnancy and after birth.

We will discuss how you can distinguish between baby blues vs. more serious mental health issues, and how to get help. We will also share key strategies for practicing self-care and building a support system that promotes emotional well being.
