Saint Mary's Regional Health System is Offering Virtual Prenatal Education

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Saint Mary’s Regional Health System is excited to announce the continuation of childbirth education classes, which were previously paused due to the pandemic.

Powered online through Birthly, patients are now able to access a larger variety of classes through a virtual platform. Expectant parents can register to sign up for the classes that provide the opportunity to connect through a live video feed with certified and experienced childbirth educators. The educator provides live and interactive teaching with dedicated time for the patient to ask questions.

Classes currently offered include Early Pregnancy Preparations, Prenatal Education Bootcamp (English and Spanish), Coping and Comfort, Breastfeeding 101, as well as Newborn Care. Each class is offered multiple times a month so patients have more flexibility in choosing a time that fits their schedule and can attend classes virtually anywhere via their laptop, tablet, and other mobile devices.
